This is an ad we did in collaboration with Computerworld. I mocked up the layout and wrote the ad copy. I then worked with a graphic artist at Computerworld to produce the artwork.

I decided to include this not because it's a good example of anything but because it was a pivotal point in my development. As a young kid, all of a sudden I was challenged with the task of publishing a magazine for a regional builder's association – an experience which turned out to be a crash course in design, layout, editing, publishing, photography, networking, business, politics, etc. Sometimes you just have to jump into the deep end of the pool without thinking about things too much.

An on again, off again hobby is brewing beer. Over the years I've produced a lot of labels. These were a couple of my first, and have always been favorites.

Over the past couple decades my mother made museum quality quilts for each of her children and grandchildren. It's an amazing body of work. Upon completion of the final quilt I took photos of the entire collection and produced a coffee table book.
